The 2008 Goya FXR is shorter and wider than our wave sail. The shape of this sail is deeper and designed for speed, with a clear focus on early planing and high end control, catering freeride and freerace sailing. It works perfect with a bigger board giving you uncomprimising performance without cambers.
The first thing you will notice about this sail is just how light it is and how easy it rides. The feeling of this sail is very centered and stable, so that you can focus on having fun, which is really the essence of why we do this sport. This sail brings enough performance and user-friendliness to the table to keep you interested for years to come.
We are using tube battens to ensure stability and lightness for the sail. Also, we have decided to go with a cross batten this year, meaning the second batten from the bottom will cross your boom. By doing so we bring stability to the sail, and keep the gaps between battens even.
The FXR is constructed with full panels of X-ply, giving you that famous Goya performance and long time proven durability.
The sail also features a new thermoform foot protector with nylon convering, making it more resistant to the antislip coating of your board.
Our battens are CNC pruduced and controlled, ensuring the perfect match of their shape with their position in the sail.
We kept the graphics to a minimum becasue we believe in blending in with the environment and in "less but better".
